Mississippi Marathon

Justin was awesome and drove the girls around to our water stops from mile 16-24. The girls got to volunteer...handing out water and gatorade to the runners while they waited for us to finish.

My friend Shelley and I after the race. The weather was perfect...we had a great run!

Thanksgiving Relays

Some friends of ours put together some relay races for the kids. The kids had a blast and no one cried about losing!

Girl's Night Out

Yes we went and saw New Moon and I am not embarrassed...Loved it!

Our very pregnant friend Jeni came from Alexandria to see it with us...good times...we miss you Jeni!

There's no basement in the Alamo...

We took a quick trip to San Antonio to meet up with our good friend Ryan and run the Marathon. We spent the day on the Riverwalk which was really cool. We went to eat at Dick's where the waiters are rude to you and they put hats with inappropriate sayings on you...it was hilarious! Janie couldn't understand why they were rude...we explained that it was a joke...but she wanted to get out of their as quick as possible!

Ryan and her sis in law Shannon eating ice cream with the girls the day before the race

The Alamo was pretty cool...

and me and my cheerleaders! During the marathon my stomach cramped up and I nearly passed out at the start of the race...so I spent a good 20 minutes inhaling oxygen with the paramedics and crying because I was so mad. So I ended up only doing the half marathon and I was really upset! Justin and the girls were at the end and he talked me thru it...So I'm running the Gulfport Marathon next weekend to make up for it!

Crab boil

Our friends the Auchoin's invited us over for our first crab boil. They were born and raised here so they walked us through it.

We had a blast and the food was so good! I've never eaten so much crab in my life...

Jean Lafitte

This is our favorite place in Louisiana. We usually come here Sunday afternoons to search for alligators, giant spiders and giant crickets.

Halloween

Justin and I had some great costumes this year...we were figure skaters. You can't see how awesome Justin's pants are and my jumpsuit...when I get the other pics I'll post them. My friend Jill had all her old dance costumes in the attic.

and here we have Zombie Cheerleaders and Minnie mouse...Kate kept saying she wanted to be "dead minnie mouse" like the girls

pretty scary huh?
